What to Expect
We understand that arriving at a chiropractic office for the first time can be nerve racking. If you’ve never experienced chiropractic or BrainCore care before, you may not know what to expect when you come to our office the first time. Filling out paperwork, learning new faces, and getting to know your way around the office can be an overwhelming experience. That is why our staff is here to help!
What to Expect
Chiropractic
Our goal is to make you comfortable. Let us give you an idea about what to expect when you arrive at Johnson Chiropractic. Your first visit usually lasts about 45 minutes. Dress comfortably and bring the listed information with you.
During your first consultation we’ll do a physical exam to learn more about your needs. Depending on what we find and whether or not you already have them, we may take x-rays. If we don’t see a need for x-rays, we will likely perform a light adjustment and maybe some therapy on your first visit.
What to Bring
1. Your insurance information
We are in network with:
BCBS | Cigna | UUHP/Mountain Health
Medicare is accepted
2. Any x-rays or medical records related to whatever brought you to us, if any
3. Information about supplements you take and your daily routine and activities

Follow-Up Visits
How long does treatment take?
The time you’ll spend at subsequent visits will vary depending on whether it is a simple adjustment or an adjustment combined with therapy. It could be a short as 15 minutes or as long as an hour. We’ll be able to tell you more specifically once we have agreed on a treatment plan.
You will be treated as a unique individual. The amount of time it takes to relieve pain and return to function is different for everybody. Even if you come in for corrective care, the maintenance necessary to uphold the adjustment varies by individual.
What to Expect
Neurofeedback
Your first appointment will be the initial consultation which takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Here we’ll learn more about where you are and what you’re looking to acheive and/ or correct. Then we’ll talk about what Neurofeedback is, how it works and determine if it is right for you.
If so, we’ll schedule your qEEG Brain Map and go over the instructions for that appointment. Once your map is complete we’ll put together your customized Neurofeedback care plan and get you scheduled for your first session.
What to Bring
A list of medications and supplements you take on a regular basis
